Antony Angel
Antony currently has his own internet radio show called Essential House, which is doing very well on 40 plus stations around the world. Music wise, Antony is currently playing anything from Funky, Jackin, NuDisco, Soulful, Deep, Uplifting House, Old School as well as Electro House depending on the venue and most importantly the crowd and has held down residencies at some of the busiest nights in the North-East. The last few years have seen Antony playing in Ibiza for Stereo Sushi and Garlands, including guest spots for Plastik, the Plastik boat party and also Eden. He also played in Mauritius three times for Ministry of Sound alongside Stonebridge, Antoine Claraman and Jon Fitz. In September 2007 DJ Mag featured the event which was for Ministry of Sound and was one of the first international DJs to play on the island.

Carnaby Cat
A cockney chappy, hailing from the bustling metropolis, Carnaby Cat now resides in a Cattery in East Anglia named Carnaby Cat House, protected by two large stone lions. He is a middle-aged mocker (a cross between a mod and a rocker for those not in the know) who gets younger by the day. Cat is fiercely proud of his vinyl collection. When asked about vinyl, he says ‘I’d never wear anything else’. He suggests he has one of the largest 1960s music collections in the UK, although such claims remain unsubstantiated. He also has an encyclopedic knowledge of all things 1960s (and science fiction) , which he loves to share. Cat has been a 60s DJ for many years and contributes to music magazines and books. So for your 60s listening pleasure, fun, facts and frivolity, The Carnaby Cat is your.. err ..man (cat).
Chris Medhurst
Chris is a big fan of soul, funk and rare grooves both the classics and the modern. You’ll not hear that much of Chris because he thinks the music is the star of the show. He started in radio over 20 years ago mainly answering the phone for Eric lol on the old satellite surgery back in the QEFM days, more recently has been heard on a community station in and around the Surrey area in the south of England.

Chris Jensen
Born in Portsmouth, in the UK, Chris Jensen started his radio career with "Portsmouth Hospital Radio" in 1976, where he read the news and sports results, as well as presenting the occasional music programme. In 1979 Chris moved to live in Ireland, where he got heavily involved in the pirate radio scene there, working on a number of stations based in the Irish midlands, going on to own or part-own 4 pirate radio stations, the first of which opened in 1983 and the last, a short-wave station, which was heard throughout northern Europe, closed in 2008, whilst at the same time producing recorded programmes for pirate radio stations in Ireland, England, Scotland, Spain and Chile in South America. Chris retired from radio in 2008, though being an avid music and radio lover, is wasn't long before he came out of retirement, but this time he decided he was doing it legally, and started presenting and producing his own Golden Oldies format radio programme. Apart from broadcasting, Chris also likes listening to the radio, he loves music, brews his own beer, reads a lot and spectates at motor racing events. Chris Jensen lists his radio influences as Kenny Everett and Noel Edmunds from the UK and Dale Dorman and Wolfman Jack from the USA.

Al Cocchi
Al Cocchi started his radio career in 1978 at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. He joined the 2,000 watt college radio station WSOU and did many different formats of radio shows including rock, top 40, oldies, and classical. Al worked in cable radio WAVP. From there, Al got into tv as well hosting New Jersey’s second longest running music-entertainment show, Video Spotlight for 14 years. Al also worked for radio legend Cousin Brucie in 1985 on WRAN in Dover, NJ and Clear Channel radio in 2005. Al also ventured in to internet radio by starting his own alternative new rock station in 2002 called CyberstormRadio.

Dave Rhodes
Dave Rhodes is the man behind the name DJR Creative, why DJR? – well they are his initials, and it seemed to work quite well! Creative, because that’s what he is!, Dave has been part of in the UK’s Media industry for over 25 years – working in Radio, TV and Video Production. He became hooked on radio at an early age and started making mix tapes for his friends and DJing at parties at a local youth club, that gave him the chance to work on a number of local charity radio stations, it was here where he met RTI’s Eric Wiltsher, and then soon he was part of the “Satellite Surgery” and “Media Zoo” creating the jingles and co presenting, as well as hosting other shows on the station. He’s continued to DJ, host events and work on other projects mainly behind the scenes, but he’s been tempted back to the wireless, but it’s not that bad though! – The good news is for the time being you won’t hear him waffling on at all.
Dave Edwards
Dave Edwards has been associated with the world of Radio Broadcasting for over 40 years, having started as many do, in Hospital Radio. He was one of the driving forces behind the formation of The Loughborogh Hospitals Broacasting Service (LHBS) back in 1975. In fact Dave was the Station Manager for several years. He was also associated with Radio Fox, in his home city of Leicester, in the early 1990's. He produced and presented the Sunday Breakfast Show. Dave has, over the years, worked for both Commercial and Publicly funded radio stations both here in the UK, as well world-wide. He started as a Studio Assistant at BBC Radio Leicester in 1976. He was used as a Commercial 'Voice Over' talent on Radio Trent in Nottingham and Mercia Sound in Coventry in the eighties. Dave spent several years producing and presenting shows for local stations here in the UK. He also spent some time broadcasting in Indonesia. Dave returned to live in the UK again in 2010. He has spent the past few years providing 'Voice Overs' for several radio Stations, producing them in the Broadcast Studio that he has set up at his home. He has also been very busy running his own Internet Radio Station, Classic Hits Uk, which showcases the hits of the 60's & 70's. The station is heard in over 95 countries worldwide. Having grown up in the Sixties, and having experienced the Seventies, he has a genuine love for the popular music of those two decades. His special love of the 70's is reflected in his show called 'That Seventies Sound' which he produces and presents each and every week. The show is not only heard on Classic Hits Uk, but on other quality radio station's around the globe.

Fred Setters, founder of Radioshed Productions started his own radio journey in 2012 when he joined the presenting staff at Jubilee Hospital Radio, which is based in the beautiful Channel Island of Guernsey. Fred is currently Station Manager with overall responsibility for programme scheduling, training, station branding and promotion as well as looking after the team of presenters and behind the scenes crew. As well as his managerial duties, Fred is kept busy recording the four weekly shows distributed by Radioshed Productions.

During His Tour of Duty in the Former Yugoslavia, Gabi was not happy with the atmosphere within in the relaxation zone of the troops. So he requested that he be allowed to spin some good old fashion 50’s and 60’s tracks in the evening hours to boost morale. Now instead of sitting quietly and feeling sad the Troops started to have more fun in the evenings with less worries about their daily jobs and missing home. The next step for him was to convince his Leadership to give him access to an old abandoned FM station on the Base which hasn’t been used for years in order for him to reach all the Allied troops in the region with the same intention…..Play Happy Music and boost the moral. Did it work out? Of course, it did 😊 Since his move to Slovakia his ‘Radio Career’ went on a downhill spiral due to language until he moved to Poprad in 2016 and met RTI. Geoff Dorsett
Geoff started his career at the age of 13 and within five years was one of the Mecca Group's top DJs, being used as their opening act for their new venues nationwide. During the '60s when package tours were at the height of their popularity, Geoff could be found compering shows with Animals, Kinks, Spencer Davis, Roy Orbison, Chuck Berry, and for the second-ever Led Zeppelin show. In 1974 became one of Radio Hallam first voices when the station launched, being the new commercial station for Sheffield. In the '70s, Geoff also worked on Q102 in Florida, USA and KZUN in Dallas. In the '80s, you'd have heard him on the legendary pirate radio station, Sunshine Radio. Geoff is now working on a number of specialist radio shows and can currently be heard on several stations internationally, with special mention of his work with Express FM who carry the 3 times -award-winning Soft Rock Show. This live show has reached a cult status and Geoff has performed over 2660 interviews over the last few years, including members of Queen, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, The Wrecking Crew, Eagles, Chicago, Sir Cliff Richard, Genesis, Status Quo, Blondie, The Searchers, Slade, Toto, Rick Astley, Foreigner and Jethro Tull... and that's just the start of the list! The show has carried a unique live link with Mix 94.1 in Las Vegas in the past, and now regularly features a live link to The Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas for all the hottest entertainment news from Sin City! Jeremy was bitten by the music bug when he was very young and never found the antidote. He made his first radio broadcast on a local hospital radio station aged just 16, where the more elderly patients were doubtless rather bemused by his juvenile attempts to emulate the style of the Alan Freeman Rock Show when the majority of requests were for songs by Des O’Connor or Al Martino! In the years that followed (and he concedes there have been a fair number of these…), he became an avid collector of music from a very broad range of genres – Soul, Blues, Folk, Jazz, Rock, Pop & Country – and developed a passion for discovering rarities and forgotten classics, while at the same time championing new music.

Like many radio presenters of a ‘certain age’, I caught the radio ‘bug’ when I listened to the pirates in the 1960s on my ‘tranny’. The jingles were my favourite part and ‘Big L’ had the best ones. In the seventies, I started broadcasting on a hospital radio station in Surrey and one of my shows won a national competition for best hospital radio programme. Noel Edmonds was one of the judges! In 1976, I became a Butlin’s redcoat presenting music and chat from their Radio Butlin studios at Clacton in Essex. Great fun, but very hard work. In the 1990’s, I did the weekday morning show on Eclipse FM which broadcast on cable and FM. One of our directors was Dave Cash. A couple of years ago, I did a spell on the weekday afternoon show of a commercial station at the seaside in East Sussex. My most embarrassing moments in radio were interviewing Bo Didley who insisted I call him ‘Mr. Didley’, and when I interviewed the comedian Richard Digance and I got a nose-bleed halfway through! I now really enjoy presenting my weekly Happy Hour show – and I hope you’ll enjoy listening to it!

Johnny relaxes at the AZ Tower Studio prior to another information packed Albumzone soirée.Johnny Reece aka ‘The Guvnah’ has been broadcasting programme for various stations over the past couple of decades, to the UK, USA, Netherlands, France, and Slovakia. According to which particular source of information you read, Reece was born in either 1966, 1962, or 1958. However, when very drunk, he has attempted to claim he was born in 1973. Perhaps he doesn’t know. I say this, because I asked him, and he said “I don’t know”. This is, of course, a lie. What isn’t a lie is the fact that he has been buying Music since he was 7, boasts a personal collection of over 20,000 Albums (having run his own Record Shop in the past did rather help that) and still helps out on the production side at a record company, in between writing the odd song here and there for friends Bands. ‘Odd’ being the operative word, he insists. And the rest, as they say, is hysterical. What of his Shows on this Archive? Well, you’ll hear Album tracks covering at least 50 years. Anything from new and forthcoming releases, back to the halcyon days of Album Rock from 60s to 80s, and the occasional nod into the Rock n Roll era too, if the mood takes. Keith Lewis
Keith Lewis started his radio career on the Voice of Peace, he later joined Radio Caroline. Chis Cary's Radio Nova satellite team. A lot of people will remember him as the voice from Nova's Camberley studios during the short period that Radio Caroline loaned the Radio Nova transponder in 1991. Keith was later heard on Radio Nova International, QEFM, Buzz-FM, EKR, Merlin Network One.
Kross Well
Ranked in the TOP 100 list on PromoDJ website as the best DJ and radioshow/podcast in many charts (Electro House, Progressive House…), Kross Well (based in Morocco) has started playing with the wheels since the age of 15 (back in 2008) just as an amateur, but day after another and year after another Kross Well started finding himself in this domain. And it was in August 2014 when he decided to start his weekly radio show under the name of “Kross Well RadioShow”, in the first 4 months the show was just an online one, but in the beginning of 2015 3 radio stations gave it a weekly slot an after that many radios around the globe adopted his weekly radio show, now he’s aired on more than 10 stations every week in Mexico, UK, Slovakia, Spain, USA… After being chosen by “Philips Sound of Arabia” as one of the TOP 5 DJ’s in the middle east and north of Africa, in “Philips M1X Programme” (2014), and his qualification to the semi-final of a national DJ’s competition “Concours Master DJ” (hosted by Hit Radio & RedBull) in 2015, Kross Well has succeeded to enter many night clubs in Morocco as a guest DJ, so he mixed and rocked the dancefloor in many cities like; Marrakech, Safi, Casablanca, Tangier, Fez… He worked also as resident DJ in a lounge-Bar and a private beach in Casablanca, where he was charged of making people dance every afternoon and night, for more than 7 months (October 2016 – May 2017). Kross Well is also a music producer. In 2015 he produced his first original track, and in the same year he signed up his first official release with a record label in Italy “Noize Bangers Records”, which was a Progressive Trance track. And so, he continued producing music and he signed up two other tracks with the same label before making a free track in August 2016 celebrating 2 years of his weekly radio show briefly known by KWRS. For Kross Well, DJing and making music are the only reasons that keep him breathing and pushing himself to new high levels.

Returned to the radio January 2019 on Replay Radio before switched to RTI in June 2019. I will be playing Rock and Pop from 7 decades each show 1950's to the present day, join me Thursday evenings 11.00pm to 1.00am.
Mike Hollis
Mike Hollis plays the best in Northern Soul, Motown, Atlantic, Stax and Philly. Mike worked for the English service of RTL (Radio Tele Luxembourg, better known as Radio Luxembourg) for 13 years, as Station Manager (Studio Boss) and enjoyed working with some of the most talented DJs that Britain and America.
Neil Greaves
My passion for music drew its first breath when Radio Rentals took our TV away. I was 10 years old. Not being one who waits to be entertained, and being of a curious nature, I decided to explore my mother's vast record collection, the bulk of which represented the genres of folk and country. But, hidden in its depths were some real sonic treasures. After a short search, I unearthed Bob Marley’s Burning and the Wailers albums, Donny Hathaway’s Extension Of a Man, and the complete works of Ray Charles and Millie Jackson. This was truly my Eureka moment! Now I had a new passion, now I could see a path before me, one that I would follow from that day forth. Paper-round money was now being used to service a new addiction — a new hunger. No longer would I be visiting the local toyshop to buy yet another Airfix Spitfire (1:72 scale) to cover in inappropriately-applied glue. No, from now on, it was now the racks of vinyl in my local record stores that beckoned me with their seductive contents. Aylesbury's Record House, Earth Records and Our Price were my after-school haunts. Even now I can still recall, as if it were yesterday, the alluring scent of clean, fresh vinyl that permeated these (what were in my mind) palaces, these shrines dedicated to music, sanctuaries where I could escape from the world and be Me. The Grundig radiogram, my then pride and joy, with the glow of its valves radiating evocatively through the louvered vents of the rear cover, would now be pumped to the max, and my my bedroom window would be wide open. This was the life, sharing the music I loved with the kids playing outside my house, while Mother would scream her own chorus of disapproval, "NEIL! TURN DOWN THE BASS!”. I knew it in my heart, my blood, my soul, I wanted to be a DJ. So now you know a little more about me from my perspective. In the eyes of others I've been described as (amongst other things that I think I'll keep to myself!) charmingly and uniquely amusing, but I will let you, my beautiful listeners, be my judge… I look forward to playing my music for YOU Greavsie

Originally from the UK, Nik Martin spent the first 15 years of his radio career working his way around Britain with on air, programming and production roles at Heart 106.2, Key 103, Radio Luxembourg, Hallam FM, Metro Radio, Power and Ocean FM, KiX 96 and Chiltern Radio among others. He has spent the last decade working overseas including Dubai, Singapore and India, where he was National Programming Head of the 20-station network Radio City. Currently a radio and online journalist with Germany’s international broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW), his reporting career has included positions at Sky News Radio and Euronews. He also been a stringer for several broadcast outlets, including NPR, the BBC, DW and CBC from London, Barcelona, and Bangkok.

Paul Whatley
As long as he can remember Paul Whatley has been an avid fan of British rock starting with the band Wings from the 70’s. Thereafter he became a huge Paul McCartney fan and then a Beatles fan. Then Paul starting listening to other British rock bands with an emphasis on British Invasion from the 60’s. Once MTV aired in the early 80’s and with the second British Invasion, Paul’s love for British rock only grew.
Paul Brown
Paul Brown, the host, producer and editor (yes a one man band) of LBP Stories. Paul is an LBP himself, his son Liam was taken from Australia to Japan by his mother (Paul’s ex-wife) in 2005 at aged Two and a half. Aside from a brief 2 seconds of eye contact in 2013 Paul has not seen Liam since. After being largely overlooked by mainstream media, Paul decided he wanted to give something back to the LBP community by providing a forum for them to share their stories. He also hopes this podcast will provide hope, help and assistance to others who are affected by International Parental Child Abduction. When not working on the podcast and advocating for child/parent rights, Paul is a Science Communicator and self confessed nerd, as well as a guitarist and song writer. He lives with his new Wife, Step Son and Daughter.

Rachel grew up in a theatrical and musical household and caught the acting bug very early in life. By the time she was 12 she was a professional child actor in theatre and television, appearing in such gems as “Prisoner Cell Block H”, “Neighbours” and worse!!!. She was approached by a commercial radio station in the late 90’s to host a 2 hour _chat_ show with a fantastic co-host and the show lasted for a fun filled year. Rachel enjoyed the medium as it allowed her to go to work in her PJ’s and look like a train wreck if she so wished. Perhaps that is why she is BACK behind the mic!
Rich Appel
Rich has spent most of his life listening to and loving music and radio, and working in the radio, music and media businesses. From high school and college radio to recent on-air work at stations like WRNJ (where he hosted The Rest of the Week with Rich Appel and filled in mornings, middays and afternoons), WGHT and Pop Gold Radio (where he’s filled in as host forThe Time Machine countdown), it’s all led up to that thing. Rich’s background goes beyond just radio – far beyond. Following 20 years at Sony Music Entertainment (home to Columbia and RCA Records, among others), he was editor of Billboard’s Top 40 Update and continues to write for the magazine and website, with written popular chart-based series such as “Hot 100’s Hottest Weeks” and “Revisionist History.”
Rick Wrigley
From the time he was a teenager, Rick Wrigley always knew that he wanted to be a broadcaster. He grew up listening to great radio stations like WPDQ and WAPE in Jacksonville Florida in the USA. His early influencers were the DJs that rocked the radio dial in the late 50s through the 70s. In 1963 he did his first radio show at WUSC in Columbia South Carolina and that experience locked it all in for him. He found magic in spinning the records and making people feel good as they went through the day. His career spanned the decades with gigs in front of the mike and behind the scenes in both radio and television. His TV career included working on remote teams for NBC, CBS,ABC, PBS and ESPN. But radio was always his first love. To that point, now that he is semi-retired he is back on the air at WUSC now an FM station doing an oldies show. He can also be heard on several internet radio, most notably Radio Tatras International. He jumped at the chance to join the RTI team because of the other professional voices that cover the globe with great music and talk. His shows are “old school” in that his style is high speed, high energy with high production value.

The Deuce Show is a one hour radio show presented by Matt Barker and features bands and artists promoted by Deuce. Emperor Rosko
Emperor Rosko is a well known radio presenter. Born Michael Joseph Pasternak, he is the son of Hollywood film producer Joe Pasternak. He was influenced in his career choice by KYA Radio Los Angeles DJs Emperor Hudson and Wolfman Jack. Rosko's opportunity to broadcast came whilst in the US Navy where he presented a show on an aircraft carrier. He then went to Europe and hosted sponsored programmes in France and Belgium.
Ross Sutherland
Hailing from Aberdeen in the far reaches of Scotland, Ross is a real northern soul boy. Join him for the best mix of soul, Motown, R&B, hip hop and dance music. Ross started broadcasting in 2004 when he joined Grampian Hospital Radio and picked up the Best Newcomer Award at the UK Hospital Broadcasting Awards the same year. Over the next 10 years, he managed to convince the committee that he was good enough to present on air and was best known for his unique, “80s, 90s and 00s Show”. In 2014 he joined the fledgling online station – Only 80s, and presented the much loved, “Mixtape”. As well as the best mix in music, entertainment news and irreverent gossip, Ross may occasionally mention the fortunes of Aberdeen Football Club, as he believes they need all the support they can get.
RTI
RTI was born on 09 April 2005, although the idea was created several years earlier. Since the enforced closure of RTI-FM the station is kept alive by a small group of highly respected and dedicated volunteer broadcast professionals. RTI would like to expressly thank Dr. Jan Telensky for his continued support and Mr. Mark Rock founder of AudioBoom, for making RTI available to so many around the world whilst returning RTI to its rightful position of LOCAL radio for Poprad. Plus StreamUp for the excellent 24/7 stream. Steve Bishop
He has mainly been button pressing behind the scenes at UK radio stations such at Invicta FM, Capital Gold, BBC Radio Kent and Breeze AM in Essex. He presented a Sunday morning show on Radio Caroline for a few years back in the early 2000’s but now takes things nice and easy in his own studio at home on the north Kent coast, where he records his (syndicated) show. A keen supporter of Queens Park Rangers but he doesn’t know why as they never come and see him when he is bad. He drinks a lot of tea and his favourite food is KitKat Chunky’s.

Titus Jennings
Titus Jennings – a child of the 60s and of suburban London, though now a resident of South Wales - has been involved in radio and the music industry, in one form or another, for most of his working life. He's been waffling away and playing his always-eclectic blend of music since the late 70s on stations such as London Hospitals Broadcasting, Kingston Hospital Radio and University Radio Bath. In the 90s and 00s he presented the Breakfast Shows on Bath’s Torch FM and Bristol's Caroline Rocks, and has been working as a presenter / producer & programme controller on a number of internet-based stations since 2005. Titus managed a couple of Bristol record stores in the late 80s, was a Pinnacle Records sales rep for a decade, and has also written CD, DVD and book reviews for Record Collector and other publications.
